Linda Petursdottir, the Second Beauty from Iceland who won ‘Miss World’ title. Linda has crowned Miss World 1988 by Ulla Weigerstorfer at the 38th edition of Miss World beauty contest which was hosted by Peter Marshall and Alexandra Bastedo at the Royal Albert hall, London on Thursday, 17th of Nobember, 1988. Linda beat 83 other beauties and won the world’s most coveted title.

Linda Petursdottir from Iceland won Miss World 1988 title. Yeon-hee Choi from Korea won the First Runner-up Miss World 1988 title. Kirsty Roper from United Kingdom won the Second Runner-up title. Emma Rabbe from Venezuela and Susana de la Llave Varon from Spain were other semifinalists.
